Core Business

One aspect of our core business is aiding new companies in the region through the set up of Joint Venture Arrangements. JVs are suitable for fledgling businesses, who are perhaps wishing to test the water, or foreign companies requiring 'incubator' assistance. Each stage of this pathway can be facilitated through Links.

Joint Venture Arrangements

The UAE Companies Law permits the formation of joint participations between two or more partners for the purpose of specific projects operating in the UAE. The advantage of using this structure is that a joint participation does not need to be formally registered and can therefore be established immediately. One consideration of entering a joint participation is that it will not always be possible to obtain independent financing. In normal circumstances the joint participation would trade under the name and trade license of the locally registered partner. Links Group allows the JV arrangement to trade under its own name citing Links as an associated partner.
